El martes fue uno de esos dias donde me pasaron un monton de cosas buenas... todo empezo con un email diciendome que me habia ganado una tarjeta de regalo en una rifa de la biblioteca. Pase a traer mi tarjeta y al salir vi un libro que habia estado con ganas de leer, asi que lo regrese a traer.
Despues fui a Wal-Mart y encontre unas macetas bien bonitas. Todo el mundo habla mal de Wal-Mart, pero yo no los cambio. Target tiene sus cosas buenas, pero no siempre se encuentra de todo. Las macetas por ejemplo, es algo que no logro encontrar en Target o Lowes.
Luego cuando iba en el carro vi a varias personas caminando y llevaban globos, y en eso me di cuenta que venian saliendo de Pollo Campero! Tengo años de estar deseando que habran uno en esta area, asi que me meti al parqueo para tomarle foto y le pregunte a la señorita que estaba en la puerta cuando habian abierto. Ella dijo: "hoy abrimos". Estaba tan feliz que me daban escalofrios!
Despues fui a Old Navy a devolver una blusa y me recorde que esa mañana habia visto que tenia un cupon de $10. Decidi chequear el precio de una chaqueta que habia visto hace como dos meses y resulto que estaba en oferta... Despues encontre una bufanda con morado y tambien en oferta! Cuando llegue a la caja, la señorita me dijo que todos los martes dan 10% de descuento. En fin, la chaqueta de $40 y la bufanda de $10, me salieron en $23!!!!
Despues de todo eso, decidi pasar a comprar un ticket de la loteria... con la suerte que estaba teniendo y la oportunidad de ganarme $244 millones por una inversion de $1, me dije, por que no?
Esa tarde, una amiga del colegio me encontro en FB y estuvimos chateando por un buen rato. La pase super bien!
No todos los dias son asi. Por eso me lo disfrute a lo grande y decidi ignorar lo que no me salio como queria... (como ese ticket de la loteria) :)
Tuesday was one of those days when a lot of good things happened to me... everything started with an email from the library telling me that I had won a gift card. I stopped by to get my card, and in the way out I saw a book that I've been wanting to read, so I went back and got it.
Then I stopped at Wal-Mart and found some nice pots for plants. Everyone talks bad about Wal-Mart, but I like it. Target has good things, but you can't always find everything you need. The pots for example, are something that I can't find at Target or Lowes.
Then, while driving, I saw several people walking and they had balloons. Suddenly I saw that they were coming out of Pollo Campero! (Guatemalan franchise!) For years, I've been hoping that they would open one in this area, so I pulled into the parking lot to take a picture and asked the girl at the door when they opened. She said: "Today". I was so happy that I kept shivering!
After that I went to Old Navy to return a blouse and I remembered that in the morning I had realized that I had a $10 coupon. I decided to check the price of a jacket I had seen a couple of months ago, and it was on sale... Then I found a scarf with purple in it, and it was also on sale! When I got to the register, the cashier told me that every Tuesday you get 10% off. In the end, the $40 jacket and the $10 scarf came up to $23!!!!
After all of this, I decided to buy a lottery ticket... with the kind of luck I was having and the opportunity to win $244 million for a $1 investment I said, why not?
That afternoon, a friend from school found me on FB and we chatted for a while. I had a great time!
Not every day is like this. That's why I decided to enjoy it to the fullest and decided to ignore the things that didn't work out... (like that lottery ticket) :)
