Dinero - Money

Hoy en la mañana pase a Target y me estacione al lado de uno de los carros mas feos que he visto...  un Jaguar.  Cuando ya me iba, mientras pensaba en  por que la gente compra ese carro, me encontre otro!  Dos carros feos en cosa de minutos... jajaja

Yo creo que algunas personas los compran por que les gusta el carro, pero la mayoria solo los compran para que los vean y se den cuenta de ellos.  La gente mira el carro y piensa WOW! Dinero!

Cuando creci, siempre me dijeron que el dinero no lo era todo y siento que hasta me enseñaron que tus metas nunca deben de incluir tener mas.  Siempre se debe de ser feliz con lo que uno tiene, y no hay que preocuparse porque Dios proveera.  Me "advirtieron" sobre los contadores, porque la mayoria son tacaños y solo se preocupan por el dinero (me pare casando con uno que no es nada asi!).  Yo no estaba de acuerdo con eso, pero no decia nada.

Es increible como con el pasar del tiempo y habiendo madurado, mi vision del dinero ha seguido siendo la misma...

El dinero no es malo, es como lo trata uno y reacciona ante el, lo que puede ser malo.  Ciertamente hace la vida mas facil y puede indirectamente hacernos mas felices...  cuando uno no se tiene que preocupar si le alcanza para pagar las cuentas y no se tiene que preocupar por las necesidades, uno disfruta la vida un poquito mas.  Pero si uno siempre esta preocupado por el dinero, se puede estresar mas facilmente y anda de mal humor, y eso afecta no solo a uno, sino que a todos los que nos rodean.

Yo creo que debemos de planear y ahorrar.  No debemos de gastar mas de lo que tenemos.  Lo debemos de usar para disfrutar nuestras vidas, pero tambien debemos de ser responsables con el.  

Lo mas importante, es entender que el dinero no hace a una persona mejor que al resto...  Es facil que nos gusten otras personas basado en lo que tienen.  Su sueldo, casa, carros, donde van de vacaciones, etc.  Es facil el ignorar sus defectos y excusarlos, pero no deberia de ser asi.  Deberiamos de hacer el esfuerzo de conocer a la otra persona y despues podemos tomar la desicion de ser sus amigos porque nos caen bien y nos gusta pasar tiempo con ellos.  No por lo que nos pueden dar o como nos hagan parecer ante los demas.

Yo he conocido a personas que tienen mucho dinero, pero tienen los pies sobre la tierra y hacen que uno se sienta bien cuando esta con ellos.  Tambien he conocido personas que tienen un poquito mas y se creen mejor que todos.  Y tambien he visto personas que han cambiado todo lo que valoraban y ahora el dinero es mas importante.

Mi meta es disfrutar lo que tengo, tratar de siempre estar preparada para el futuro, y enseñarles a mis hijos a ser personas responsables y buenas.  Y si ellos llegan a tener mas dinero que otros, ojala que sigan siendo las mismas personas y que puedan compartir lo que tienen con otros.

This morning I stopped at Target and parked next to one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen... a Jaguar.  As I'm leaving, and wondering why anybody would buy such a car, I come face to face with another one!  Two ugly cars in a matter of minutes...  hahaha 

I think that a couple of people may buy it because they like the looks of it, but for the majority the only reason to buy such a car is to be seen and noticed.  People look at it and think WOW!  Money!

When I was growing up, I was always told that money wasn't everything and feel that I was even taught that your goals should never include getting more.  You should always be happy with what you have, and don't worry because God will provide.  I was "warned" about accountants, because most of them are stingy and all they worry about is money (I married one that is nothing like that!).  I never quite subscribed to that way of thinking, but kept it to myself.

It's amazing how as time has gone by and I have matured, my vision of money has pretty much remained the same...  

Money is not bad, is how you treat it and react to it that can be bad.  It certainly makes life easier and can indirectly make you happy...  when you don't have to worry about having enough to pay the bills, and you don't have to worry about the necessities, you can enjoy life a little more.  But if you are always worried about money, you can easily be stressed and in a bad mood, and that affects not only you, but those around you.

I believe that you should plan and save.  You shouldn't spend more than you have.  You should use it to enjoy your life, but you should also be responsible with it. 

The most important thing is to understand is that money doesn't make a person better than the rest... It's easy to like others based on what they have.  Their salary, house, cars, vacations they take, etc.  It's easy to overlook their defects and make excuses for them, but it shouldn't be that way.

We should make an effort to get to know the other person and then we can make the decision to be their friends because we like them and enjoy spending time with them.  Not because of what they can give to us, or how they make us look to everyone else.

I have met people that have a lot of money, but they are down to earth people and make you feel good when you are with them.  I have also met people that have a little more and they think that they are better than everybody else.  I have also seen people that have changed everything they used to value and now money is more important.

My goal is to enjoy what I have, try to always be prepared for the future, and teach my kids to be responsible and good.  If they ever have more money than others, I hope that they can still be the same people and that they will share with others.
